Named in reverence for their interests in cult mentality, transhumanism, and conspiracy theories, Reptaliens quickly evolved from a bedroom-recording project to a full-fledged band that explores fringe pop culture through analog synthesizers, electric guitars, melodic bass lines, and singer Bambi’s lulling vocals.
While attending college in Los Angeles in 2015, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Michael Stevenson and Rounak Maiti created Small Forward to explore the infinite treasures within AM pop and guitar-strummed nostalgia. With bassist Campbell Scott and drummer Nick Waldram on board, Small Forward craft textured and melodic pop songs while adhering to a bedroom / DIY approach throughout the recording process.
Jerkagram is a psychedelic rock band from Los Angeles via New York City consisting of two twin brothers Derek (guitar loops vocals) and Brent (drums, vocals) plus a rotating cast of bass players, strings and horns. Their latest self-released album, “All Eyes On Me” was recorded in 2018 with Toshi Kasai (The Melvins, Tool, Helmet) which was accompanied by 19 weeks of North American touring. Jerkagram have been featured in Vice [Noisey], The AV Club, LA Weekly, Tiny Mix Tapes, The Village Voice, Bandcamp, New Noise Magazine, Post-Trash, The Obelisk and many more. 2019 will see 3 new records from Jerkagram endeavors including an improvised noise record with Mexican born saxophone player, Martin Escalante, an experimental noise rock record as a quintet with strings and a full length album that will be recorded with The Sea And Cake / Tortoise drummer, John McEntire. Accompanying the new records will be another tour of North America as well as Japan!
