Beta Play - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Beta Play
Beta Play is an indie rock band from Santa Barbara, California formed in early 2015 by Tom Cantillon on guitar and lead vocals, Michael Cantillon on keyboards and backing vocals, and Mike Dyer on bass and backing vocals. Their music is a mix of old and new combining the pop chops of Maroon 5 with the raw energy of the Talking Heads. The trio grew out of their previous band, Tommy & the High Pilots, who earned a reputation for putting on sharp high-energy performances across the United States by touring with artists like Allen Stone, The Plain White T's, Parachute, Toad the Wet Sprocket and continued to do so after undergoing a change in name and direction in 2015.
Beta Play released their debut self-titled EP in 2015 and has released five singles since then including their most recent single "Walk Away" released in January. Last summer, they toured with Toad the Wet Sprocket for a US tour and in the fall was an artist on the main stage for the High School Nation Tour which visited 35 high school campuses. They are currently working on new music at their studio in Camarillo, CA.

The Fontaines - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
The Fontaines
The Fontaines are a new wave rock band based in Los Angeles, California. Charlotte Fontaine (vocals) and Hank Fontaine (guitar) began writing songs in 2014. The siblings are joined by Chrystian Kaplan (drums) and Daniel Zuker (bass).

February 2017 saw The Fontaines drop their debut single "Evaporate," which has been streamed hundreds of thousands of times and has received airplay on commercial and satellite radio as well as bringing The Fontaines to The Troubadour for a sold-out headlining performance in support of their dual EP releases, "Playgirls" and "Playboys."

On May 17, 2018 The Fontaines will be releasing their most anticipated single yet, "Freak," the band's fourth release of this year. "Good Times," "Between Us," "Beso," and "Freak" show off the group's sultry, indie tinged rock sound with a pointedly cohesive and confident direction. Coming off two sold out performances at The Troubadour and appearances at SXSW 2018 and the Spring 2018 High School Nation Tour, The Fontaines are preparing for a headlining show June 21 at The Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles. On January 11, Stryker named single "Playboys" his 4:20 Pick of the Day on legendary LA radio station 106.7 KROQ FM.
