Levi Petree and The Radio Publica - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Levi Petree and The Radio Publica
A Ragin’ Cajun from Lafayette, Louisiana, Levi Petree was born on the bayou and infuses that area’s unique spirit into his music. His songs are lyric and guitar-driven, blending his love of British punk and new wave, Outlaw country of the 1970s, and the anthemic heartland-rock songs that top 40 DJs don’t seem to spin anymore. He has been cited by Music Connection Magazine for his "serious songwriting chops" and PopShifter Magazine described his style to be "A delicious melange of things that might fit neatly under the Americana umbrella: pastoral balladry, kick-ass stompers, folksy sunniness, and more than a little punk-rock snarl." Petree and his Encino-based band, The Radio Publica, are known for their rowdy and relentless live performances, producing "A sound that makes you just want to get up and dance" (The Ridgecrest News Review). Together, they recently released their debut album, sarcastically titled It's Country., which netted several published reviews praising that "at its thunderous acme ... this stirs rush-blooded, reciprocal dedication" (Damnation Dance Party).
FNTN - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Formed in the Spring of 2013, FNTN (fka FENTON) got their start in Virginia, quickly becoming a must-see act on the college circuit. In the tradition of their formative influences — The Strokes, The Stones, and David Bowie — FNTN put on a live show that is equal parts rock and roll intensity and Beatlesque melodicism.

Their recordings combine their live show’s energy with reflective lyrics and new wave flourishes. FNTN’s first EP, Indigo (2016), fused surf pop guitars with a Talking Heads-indebted sense of rhythm to create the ultimate soundtrack for late night driving. Cville Weekly recognized the EP as “proof Charlottesville’s music scene [was] thriving,” and its lead single, “Indigo,” has over 18,000 streams on Soundcloud and counting.

The Lucid Dreams EP built on Indigo’s rock roots while incorporating vaporwave and synthpop elements. Online tastemakers featured the EP’s two singles, “One More Ride” and “Other Nights,” on multiple playlists, and the latter song was accompanied by a music video that has received thousands of views on Facebook so far.

Since relocating to Los Angeles this summer, FNTN built their own studio in Topanga Canyon and began work on a new set of songs. With a love of everything from vintage Afrobeat to modern Australian psychedelia, FNTN filter all their influences through a classic rock ethos that is theirs alone.
Dang - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
Dang was formed out of the friendship of two LA trios, featuring members of the (now defunct) Bright Missiles and The Noogies. The quartets first release was a DIY style alt-rock EP that was quietly posted to bandcamp in late 2016. The group is currently completing a new EP, planned for a spring 2018 release. Recorded in Warren Zevon and Jackson Browne's former rehearsal space in the valley, the groups new recordings show another side of their sound, leaning more on 70s rock, english blues, and garage rock influences. Their first single "Got You All to Myself" is out now.
