Crook
Influenced and inspired by the likes of James Blake, Florence Welch and Nina Simone, described as "cinematic pop for widescreen ears' by Kevin Bronson of Buzz Bands LA and 'vulnerable and excruciating' by Dennis Hinzmann at OUT Magazine, Daniels voice paired with Crooks style of songwriting garnered quick recognition in the North Bay music scene when he began in 2005. The band currently resides in downtown Los Angeles.
Modern Figure - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Modern Figure is a newly-formed 3-piece indiepop/shoegaze band from Echo Park, Los Angeles. Combining various influences and styles that range from postpunk/pop/new wave from the 80's, early grunge & shoegaze from the 90's, to current indiepop the band is able to present a unique sound that feels nostalgic yet new at the same time. Modern Figure is currently working on releasing their debut EP "Who Is Modern Figure" early 2018 with their dark and danceable single "Running".
Summer Blood - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
The Millennial Club
The Millennial Club
So-Cal based The Millennial Club are a dream pop outfit who at a very young age, have managed to blend dance-inspired 80’s pop, beat-driven 90’s R&B, and emotional love-centered lyricism to mold their unique Southern California sound. The group was formed when singer/guitarist Andres Ownes was joined by bassist/keyboaridst Jared Ortiz in late 2016, later adding guitarist/saxophonist Jake Stevenson and drummer Tyler Kamei. They find inspiration in a wide range of artists including Coldplay, Bombay Bicycle Club, St. Lucia, and The 1975.
