The Satellite Presents

Broken Baby

With music and lyrics that focus an unwieldy rage with wit and academic-like precision, Broken Baby has burrowed an unlikely path through the sludge of 21st century alternative rock. They’re not riffy, yet they are. They’re not glam, yet they are (or at least front-woman Amber Bollinger certainly is). They’re not catchy, yet they totally are. They invite you into their songs with riffs and glam and pop, only to toss you into the blistering inferno of their devilishly charming kiln. With the constant churn of their song machine, not to mention the band’s absolutely blistering live performances, Broken Baby is a modern-day rock juggernaut built for the new DIY ethos of our time.

Ugly Sweaters

Raised in Zimbabwe, schooled in Australia and living in Los Angeles, Ugly Sweaters is the musical melding of Mandla and his three best friends Claire, Alex and Ian. The quartet play a raucous live set, mixing Rock n Roll foundations with flares of punk and garage pop.

Precious Kid

Precious Kid, founded in 2016, is the brainchild of Orange County, CA native Justine Dorsey. It is Dorsey's love letter to the NYC punk scene of the 70s. Precious Kid is a little glamorous and a little dirty. Precious Kid wants you to feel good! Precious Kid loves animal print. Precious Kid is high-octane. Precious Kid is always saying "kiss kiss." Precious Kid is stuck in a bedroom. Precious Kid is out on the prowl. Precious Kid wants you to get down, way down, down to your skivvies and feathers, and maybe come out to a show in LA sometime, won't you?

Compra Y Venta

Compra Y Venta is a technically savvy trio who combines elements of free-form jazz, stoner metal and punk. Their sound is a synthesis of complex rock and roll while still maintaining a consistent 70's garage rock style.
