Body Parts
Body Parts
Ryder Bach started Body Parts in 2009. The band, rounded out by Alina Cutrono, Raymond Proudfoot, and Taylor Dexter, fuses Ryder's thoughtful lyrics -- food, language and comfort serve as subjects -- with an angular sense of melody, some Prince-inspired guitar work, a lot of percussion and several pairs of decidedly square eyeglasses; the result is songs that are just as intellectually demanding as they are imminently danceable. The band is now recording a new music under the banner, FIRE DREAM.

Foxtails Brigade
The Hollywood Hills-born daughter of a cult filmmaker and sister of offbeat stand-up comedian Brent Weinbach, Laura grew up in a musical household that embraced eccentricity.

Laura started Foxtails Brigade in 2006 with her friend, violinist Sivan Sadeh. She moved to San Francisco a year later, playing every club and street corner and she could find and it wasn't long before the city started to notice. She quit her day job as a substitute teacher in 2009 and has been a full-time performer ever since, sharing stages with Faun Fables, Chris Garneau and Bart Davenport amongst others. She has collaborated with a number of talented musicians in Foxtails Brigade, including cellists Jen Grady, Robin Reynolds and Lewis Patzner and multi- instrumentalist Joshua Pollock. Her most recent musical partner is violinist and arranger Anton Patzner of Bright Eyes and Judgement Day.
Greenhorse
Greenhorse
Greenhorse is an emerging post-pop trio featuring Chris Hackman, Shawn Day and Joel Saur, who first met at an antique music store in Wyoming. Following an online collaboration in 2009, while Day was living in London, Hackman in Los Angeles, and Saur in South Africa, they formed Greenhorse. The LA-based group recently recorded their second EP at Pachyderm Studios with Brent Sigmeth (Nirvana, Wilco, Polyphonic Spree); the single "Sunbreak" is slated for release in March 2011.
