Hearts and Minutes consists of long time collaborators Vincent Covarrubias (Portland) and Griffin Wright (Los Angeles), with a variety of friends who join us live and on recordings. We play rock music. We are highly caffeinated and good for the soul.

Our debut album "Hearts and Minutes" was released in November, 2009.

Our EP "Drink Deep" was released in November, 2011.

Founded in June of 2012 by manically prolific LA actor, rapper, promoter, writer, radio host etc Jayk Gallagher, Hobart W Fink is slightly nerdy, slightly ironic indie rock. With two lead singers, Gallagher and Madison Rene Knapp (Known for her solo work as MrK), the band blends touches of The Strokes and Interpol with such disparate influences as Elliott Smith, Nirvana, and Karen Carpenter. Imagine if Neil Young and Mama Cass guested on Weezer's Pinkerton while reading Herman Melville novels. While the music takes purposeful forays on eclectic tangents, these are just embroideries at the edges of what is decidedly enjoyable rock music.
