Incan Abraham

Incan Abraham consists of two pairs of childhood friends, who parted ways, and then reunited. Teddy moved to New York in high school, but when he visited LA in early 2009, we decided to brave the coastal disparity, and form a band.
We convened in Rhinebeck, NY for a month that summer, to record our first EP in a house there. Then, in the autumn of that year, Teddy moved out West, so the project could continue. It's been all fun since then.

Cuckoo Chaos

On the fringes of the southwesternmost corner of culture and smart in these United States, Cuckoo Chaos is the Richard Nixon of disco dancing. Cuckoo Chaos is the Henry Ford of Dada. Cuckoo Chaos is the John The Baptist of cunnilingus. The Pontius Pilot of lamb skin condoms. Cuckoo Chaos is a nice, firm ass in the palm of your hands. Cuckoo Chaos is a tarred and feathered Hugh Hefner screaming at something… you know what I mean. Cuckoo Chaos is not milk. Cuckoo Chaos is the rusty trombone you’ve always wanted. Cuckoo Chaos is the Rasputin of children’s birthday parties and the Richard Simmons of carpet bombing. Cuckoo Chaos is the Nobel Peace Prize of bukkake.
Mahgeetah

Stripped down at heart, Mahgeetah finds common ground with the attitude and conviction of rock and roll music. Distorted riffs, three part harmonies, and heavy piano lay an alternative foundation for any particular confined rock genre and stretch further than any blues or Americana stereotype.
Their songs on a skeletal level very much please the cherished pop side of music, but the drive seems to almost always fall back on loud heavy climaxes. For them, improvisation is a character that acts as an extension of their melodic sensibilities. They tell themselves to slow down, but clearly are attached to the idea of their music as fast, loud, and heavy.
