Neil Hamburger's 5th year anniversary show!

Five years ago Neil Hamburger began his monthly residency at The Satellite, shuffling onto the stage desperately clutching a tumbler of whiskey in one hand and two more under his arm. His subversive "tributes" to "beloved" pop icons bring tears of laughter to the eyes of the initiated, fire to the eyes of those not in on the joke, and a good measure of shame to all within earshot. But none feel that shame more acutely than Neil Hamburger himself.
In 1996 Neil Hamburger released his first full-length album, America's Funnyman, via Drag City Records. Since, he's become a favorite of the rock scene, touring the world over with the Foo Fighters, Tenacious D, and others. From Edinburgh's Fringe Festival, to Madison Square Garden, he's been pelted with every manner of coin in circulation today and booed in every variation of the rich tapestry of dialects that we all cherish as part of our collective cultural heritage. Hailed by the New York Times as "One of the funniest comedians in the country... Hamburger excels at picking comedy traditions apart" and as "The funniest, most vital proponent of anti-comedy since Andy Kaufman" by The Onion he takes on anti-comedy in kamikaze style.
October 18th marks a half-decade long residency at The Satellite in Silver Lake in which he has hosted comedians such as Margaret Cho, Jack Black, Tim Heidecker, Brody Stevens, Tom Green, and many more. It's been five years of whiskey-soaked thrift store tuxedos, attacks on celebrity, 5.7k instances of throat clearing, dozens of cases of "zipper lips", and some of the most unique comedy acts in the country - all at "bargain values".

Jon Daly

Jon Daly is very funny. He's acted for television (Human Giant, Happy Endings) and film (Bride Wars, Mystery Team). He's starred in FunnyorDie videos (My Imaginary Friend is Fabio, Bieber 5021), and frequently performs at the UCB theatre in Los Angeles. He's also a pretty fantastic rapper as the non-Brett Gelman half of Cracked Out.
Rob Delaney

Rob Delaney is originally from Boston. After an idyllic childhood during which he was never, ever lonely, he attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He performs stand up regularly at the top comedy venues in Los Angeles, New York, and various comedy clubs across the United States. Rob is currently in development for both a pilot for Comedy Central and a book deal for Random House. His television credits include FUEL TV's The Daily Habit, and the pilot Movie Nook for TBS. On Twitter, Rob has created a following of nearly 230,000 followers that grows every day. He's been listed on "The Funniest People on Twitter" on such sites as the Huffington Post, Vice Magazine, Paste Magazine, Comedy Central, and Funny or Die. Most recently Rob was a contributing writer on the British version of the IT Crowd as well as the show Ridiculousness on MTV. Rob also sings the national anthem for the Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Brody Stevens

Brody Stevens is a comedian who possesses that always elusive natural character – many on the inside call him "The Entertainers' Entertainer".
And let's not forget the English speaking audiences! – Citizens of the world, both young and old continue to support this eclectic personality as he attempts to bridge the gap between man and crowd.
After retiring from a successful amateur baseball career at 23 (many of his former teammates have gone on to make millions in the major leagues) – Brody found his calling in Seattle where he began doing stand-up in the mid-90's – working out of The Comedy Underground and other notable Emerald City establishments.
