Terraplane Sun

Hailing from Venice Beach, California, 5-piece blues rock outfit, Terraplane Sun, has honed a swampy soulful feel reminiscent of the 1960s “California Sound," with a groove that leaves you no choice but to move. Comprised of Ben Rothbard (vocals, harmonica and guitar), Johnny Zambetti (lead guitar and mandolin), Cecil Campanaro (bass), Lyle Riddle (drums) and Gabe Feenberg (piano, accordion and trombone), Terraplane Sun has performed on sold-out bills supporting such acts as The Alabama Shakes, Youngblodd Hawke and Imagine Dragons, along with several residences via C3 presents at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. After releasing its 2011 critically acclaimed debut album, Coyote, the band just completed a new 6-song EP, produced by Dave Trumfio (Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Ok Go) and mixed by Richard Furch (Prince, Fountains of Wayne, Outkast). Said EP includes "Get Me Golden," currently featured in Citibank's national television ad campaign, feature films, 21 Jump Street, and What To Expect When You're Expecting and hit television series, Teen Wolf and Franklin and Bash. Their recording of "Funnel Of Love," off of their Coyote album was just recently featured in the blockbuster film Playing For Keeps as well. It is the bands live show however that legitimizes them as one of L.A.'s top up and comers, as was evident during their recent residency at the legendary Satellite. As the Los Angeles Times puts it, "The Venice psych-blues rocker put on one of the most intense live shows in the city's local scene." As they've done with L.A., T.S. pounded the West Coast relentlessly during 2012 to an overwhelming response, just recently selling out shows in San Francisco and headlining The Belly Up Tavern in San Diego, as well as hitting just about every town between Seattle and Mexico "Friends EP" Out Now!
The Mowgli's

Five childhood friends from the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, augmented by 3 mid-western transplants, The Mowgli's are a quintessential California band. Inspired by the magnetism of San Francisco, the grind of Los Angeles and the serenity of the Big Sur Coast, their songs are a joyous revival of rock n' roll, a twisting indie-folk dance and a heartfelt protest ballad.
Sliding from indie pop to country and a host of genres in between, the band evokes modern artists such as Fun., Grouplove and Edward Sharpe And the Magnetic Zeros, whilst having their roots in the music of Neil Young, The Byrds, The Beach Boys and Fleetwood Mac.
Part 60's Laurel Canyon, part 70's Venice Beach and part 10's Silverlake, the band and the harmonies are held together by their message of universal love, peace and the belief that the highest form of consciousness is achieved by togetherness and unity.
Uplifting, collaborative, joyous and communal, their music is a walk through their life thus far: Meeting each other and experiencing together ("San Francisco", "The Great Divide "), emerging stronger ("Carry Your Will") - their message is finding a foothold with fans from every walk of life, bringing people together under one roof to celebrate each other.

The Silverlake Chorus

The Silver Lake Chorus is a symphonious blend of joy-mongering LA Eastsiders who've been rocking choral arrangements of indie music since February 2010.
Born from the rainbow-hued imagination of creative director Sam Rader, TSLC is conducted by the nauseatingly talented Mikey "MacGroover" Wells, with arrangements by music-nerd-goddess Heather Ogilvy.
Aussie crooner Ben Lee is slated to produce TSLC's debut record, premiering all original never-before-heard tracks written by artists who knock our socks off, then on, then back off again, including: Beck, Sia, Of Montreal, Aimee Mann, The Bird and the Bee, Tegan and Sara, Rob Giles, and Justin Vernon (Bon Iver).
The twenty-five-ish members of The Silver Lake Chorus are a talented, snowflake-like array of warmhearted go-getter/songsters. Their likes include: existence, sandwiches, inappropriate nicknames, Tecate, diminished chords, sharing feelings while sitting in a circle, and YOU. They really like you.
