Nightmare Air
Named after a skateboard move from a vintage skate film, Los Angeles band NIGHTMARE AIR emphasizes sonic momentum, during both live performances and in the studio.

In support of 2013 debut release “High in the Lasers” the trio comprised of Dave Dupuis, Swaan Miller and Jimmy Lucido, have been raging venues across the globe with energetic massive sound walls, captivating lights, and ethereal vocals. All of which landed the group critical success such as featured new artist in Filter and Under the Radar magazine, and album of the month in ArtRocker Magazine UK.

2017 now finds the band completing their second studio album and adding 4th member Liza Stegall on keyboards. Liza on now on the keys they’ve take their expanding wall of sound around the US and playing select shows and festivals sharing the stage with The Kills, Black Mountain, Teenage Fanclub, Cat Power and more.

Nightmare Air’s Dupuis, a veteran of L.A. shoegazers Film School (Beggars Banquet Records), and Miller, whose stark acoustic album on Important Records melted hearts and faces everywhere, meticulously layer boy-girl harmonies, pulsing pop synths, psych noise loops and glam soaked walls of guitars. Add to that Liza Stegall on the keys and Detroit heavy hitter Jimmy Lucido on the drums (The Strays/ TVT records) in their combined years of touring, these road veterans have supported heavyweights from Smashing Pumpkins to The Jesus and Mary Chain to Swervedriver. Headlining clubs and playing festivals around the world Nightmare Air have shared stages with The Kills, The Dandy Warhols, Teenage Fanclub, Cat Power, The Black Lips, The Soft Moon, No Age, Sonic Youth legend Lee Ranaldo, The Wedding Present, The Duke Spirit, No Age, The Buzzcocks, Ringo Deathstarr, Fishbone, Japanther, Ice Age, and The Cult and many more.

The sophomore album being mixed in Los Angeles and was recorded around the world in between tours in studios in Ireland, Las Vegas, Amsterdam and finally Toronto where they brought in the assistance of Doug Romano (Drake, Justin Bieber) to complement their musical pivot.

Released in 2013 the debut studio full-length “High in the Lasers” mixed by Dave Schiffman (Nine Inch Nails, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Mars Volta) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, Sonic Youth, The White Stripes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs)

The debut release “High in the Lasers” is available on indie front line labels St. Marie Records (CD, Digital) and Goodnight Records (Vinyl) as well as Vinyl Junkie in Japan, sharing a roster with Ringo Deathstarr, Adam Franklin (Swervedriver), The Wombats, A Place to Bury Strangers, and Crocodiles.

Hold on tight, the future is bright.
The Saint James Society
The Saint James Society
Alternative Dark Wave Rock five-piece, The Saint James Society, are the brainchild of singer and multi-instrumentalist Brandon Burkart, who formed the band whilst living in Austin, Texas. Now based in Los Angeles, joining Burkart in the band’s line-up of gothic gypsies is British guitarist Marc Sallis (The Duke Spirit / The Bulls), bassist Noah Harmon (The Airborne Toxic Event / Summer Moon / Dhani Harrison), Giselle Reiber (Ice Balloons / Midnight Masses) on synths and drummer Glenn Fryatt. The band releases its latest EP, “Covered In Blood”, on Blank City Records as a very limited edition pressing on used medical X-Rays on August 18th 2017. Mixed by the award winning Erik Wofford (The Black Angels / Roky Erickson / White Denim), the EP is a collection of covers that have inspired the band since its inception, several of which have been a mainstay in The Saint James Society’s live set over the years. The EP also features guest vocals from Anna Bulbrook (The Airborne Toxic Event / The Bulls / Edwards Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros) and Swan (Glitch Mob / Pair Of Arrows). The group's debut self-titled EP, which landed at the #1 position in the Austin Chronicle's year-end critic's poll, was called "A black-lit amalgam of glam swagger, leather-jacketed hard rock, and occult psychedelia" by the award winning paper.‬ The band have shared the stage with the likes of Faith No More, Pentagram, and The Black Angels, as well as playing some of North America’s biggest festivals.
Pair Of Arrows
Pair Of Arrows
Los Angeles-based band Pair Of Arrows comprises of Swan Palermo (vocals), RD White (keys & production) & Brandon Burkart (drums). The three-piece’s electronic music evokes Depeche Mode’s new wave hooks and the post-punk sounds of Cocteau Twins whilst creating a dark dreamscape of modern day, left-field pop. Emotive vocals, warm synths, kinetic rhythms and massive bass drive and define the Pair Of Arrows’ sound.

Swan’s unmistakable work on The Glitch Mob’s critically-acclaimed debut album, “Drink The Sea”, led her onto many other projects and collaborations, but after meeting producer and musician, RD, the pair’s creativity was instant. Together they started writing and recording some of the most persuasive music of their careers as Pair Of Arrows. With the addition of multi-instrumentalist, Burkart (The Saint James Society, Cathedral Club, Dead Dawn), the band were able to add architectural rhythmic structures in an expressive live format, to its bass-laden mantle of synth production and transportive top lines.

The band will be releasing its debut EP on Blank City Records in September 2017.
