The Brevet
The Brevet
Passion brought The Brevet together, and it defines their music. Their very name represents a Civil War rank awarded to individuals who went above and beyond the call of duty without the expectation of extra monetary compensation. In other words, The Brevet traditionally act out of their passion for and dedication to music. That spirit courses through their songs, and it's the reason why they've quietly built a palpable national buzz.

Since the release of their 2013 independent debut Battle of the Heart, the quartet—Aric Chase Damm [vocals, guitar], Michael Jones [piano], David Aguiar [drums, percussion], and Ben Ross [bass]—has landed high-profile placements throughout film and television, including The Good Lie, Ashby, 90210, Growing Up Fisher, American Idol, The MLB Network and more. They've also earned ink in Los Angeles Times, American Songwriter, and OC Weekly, among many others. Their forthcoming 2016 sophomore effort, American Novel, elevates the group's rock-tinged cinematic Americana sound to heavenly heights.
Air Traffic Controller
Air Traffic Controller
Air Traffic Controller have created a place all their own in the indie pop world.

Serving in the US Navy as an air traffic controller, singer/songwriter Dave Munro sent home demos written during deployment. Band-mate and singer/songwriter Casey Sullivan met Dave soon thereafter, and the two forged a collaborative bond that has become the vocal sound of ATC.

Support for the new album has come in from all over. Vanyaland in Boston calls BLACK BOX an evolution forward featuring "crafty alt-pop, an expansion of depth and sound, catchy hooks," and describes the song "Warrior" as "a pleasantly brooding, mystic-pop thumper." One Stop Record Shop in the UK states "the album is equal parts fascinating and brilliant" while "combining flecks of CHVRCHES with the indie vibes of Pulp and a smattering of Death Cab For Cutie."
Low Hums
Low Hums are a wild rock and roll band from Seattle Washington, comprised of some very long time close friends. Musically, there are a lot of influences.. Probably too many to tell. If you added up all the years each member has been playing in bands, buying records, listening to music.. Lets just say it’s a long time. Here’s a swing at it. First Psychedelic Era 1965-1968, Acid Rock, 70’s rock, 80’s skate rock, The Sonics, Dead Moon, Velvet Underground, Pink Floyd, Early British Invasion like ‘Them’ or you know the Rolling Stones.. and perhaps a bit of Weird Spaghetti Western, Funkadelic, Howlin’ Wolf, Sun Ra…. Since starting officially in 2009, there have been several versions of the band.. Early stuff was dark/folk/, then experimental, and now in their best form yet, Low Hums have been focusing heavily on rocking out. Whirlwinds of fuzz, lots of sonic energy and yes, even a few well written slower songs and instrumentals. Adventuring In The Near And Far EP (2015) picked up where the Pop/Psych elements of Charm LP (2014) left off and shifted into a higher speed. Bookended with a straight into Stooges sax freak out via Dick Dale fuzzed out surf riff beach blanket bong-out.. ending with a love song about taking the moon as squatters rights. And in the middle? West coast river love, and a rip van winkle story of coming out of a acid trip into the modern world of traffic, Tv fake news and far out space objects. 2017’s Shine Rock EP went even furthur ( am I right ?? ) down the rabbit hole of pop, bluesy garage licks and psych. Songs like “Purple Berries”, “Shine Rock”, “Skateboard” and “Motorcycle Blues”. The EP’s heavy biker vibe feel may have been due to massive overdoses of Blue Cheer’s 'Vincebus Eruptum’ and Captain Beefhearts 'Safe as Milk’. So much so even Peter Fonda though it was cool. Where are we at now ?? A Summer 2017 LP Release via Union Zero is on the way. 'NightMagicWine’ produced and recorded by Jack Endino (mmm Nirvana, Tad and our favorite Screaming Trees) is the best and strongest yet. Can’t tell you much else about it yet.. except it’s very 'rock n roll’ and soooon, we will release it ! Low Hums have played sweaty packed college parties, high desert roadhouses, regional festivals, dive bars, all ages bakeries turned venues, beaches, generator parties and everything else in between. They have toured the west coast / southwest 5 times.
