Rosie Tucker
Rosie Tucker
Rosie Tucker is a songwriter, composer, and performer based in Los Angeles.

Rosie has performed her songs in a great variety of Los Angeles venues ranging from DIY spaces to more established rooms like The Bootleg, The Hotel Cafe, The Troubadour, and The Hi-Hat. In the fall of 2016 she toured as a OneBeat fellow. Onebeat is a cultural diplomacy collaboration between Found Sound Nation and the U.S. Department of State. In addition to her solo pursuits, Rosie writes with and plays bass in Gypsum, a post-rock band.

In May of 2016 she received a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Southern California. During her time in university, Rosie released Lowlight (her first album of original songs), composed music for short films, collaborated and performed with Sokamba Performing Arts Company, and lent her poetry and music to The Altar Collective (a literary magazine and arts collective).

In the interest of cultivating a more inclusive music industry, Rosie co-founded Musicians Unite in Support of Equality, a student group dedicated to connecting and educating aspiring female music professionals. Inspired by MUSE, Rosie’s undergraduate thesis project investigated gender disparities in post-secondary audio-technology education in the United States. She also built this website.
Fell Runner
Fell Runner
Fell Runner is a band with “an instinct for the raw, ear-splitting sonic energy it takes to get a crowd to go nuts” (LA Weekly). Formed at CalArts in 2012, the band has performed in Los Angeles and around the West Coast opening up for artists such as Tortoise, ‪Julia Holter‬, Luke Temple, and Big Thief. Originally started as an independent study in applying West African rhythms to pop song forms, Fell Runner's music has been described as “a wicked thicket of prickly guitars, asymmetrical rhythms and raw, emotive vocals: Post-punk meets world music meets math rock, if you will.” (BuzzBands.LA). A band consisting of diverse musicians (current/previous members of HAIM, SK Kakraba, The Americans), Fell Runner brings a wide range of influences to its music placing emphasis on energetic live shows. They released their self-titled debut CD on Los Angeles-based label, Orenda Records, on August 18th, 2015.
Foxes & Lions
Foxes & Lions
Foxes & Lions creates melodies that echo through time, combining the sound of raw acoustics with contemporary song structure, while touching on classic folk themes such as life, love, and longings for home.
