Send Medicine
Send Medicine
SEND MEDICINE began as the solo project for Toronto based singer/songwriter Julian Hacquebard in the summer of 2012. Julian then moved to Los Angeles, shaping a sound that LA Record called "a heady mix of psych, blues, folk and surf - a winning combination". Since, the band has expanded to a full lineup, with a live show featuring percussion, backing vocals, and theremin.

SEND MEDICINE has performed at Echo Park Rising, Summer Sweat 2015, The Satellite, The Bootleg Theater, and at Jam in the Van at Green in Pasadena. The band has been featured on Indie FM’s Buzzbands, The Deli’s Band of the Month, Hype Machine, Live on KSPC 88.7, KBeach Radio, and more.

In 2016, the band released their debut album “Scary Aquarius Daughter”, featuring lead single “July Eyes” and follow-up “Tall Flowers”. The album was performed by Salvatore Romano (Drums), Ryan Glennan (Percussion), Lauren Grimaldi (Percussion), Aaron Stern (Bass), and Connor Hill (Guitar).
Avid Dancer
Avid Dancer
Meet Avid Dancer, former Marine and rudimental snare drum champ Jacob Summers. His single "Stop Playing With My Heart" is pretty much perfect in every way. From the harmonies to the dribbling bass line, from the tip-toeing synth and classically plucked blues guitar, this track becomes a super sophisticated love song with poise and class. There's a little bit of rock, a little bit of blues, and a lot of indie styling; the combination makes for an amazingly well-written indie rock song that'll appeal to the masses.
The Dead Horse Rhythm
The Dead Horse Rhythm
The Dead Horse Rhythm was formed in 2015 by Mars de La Mancha. The music is a pulsing and grooving mix of rock n roll and Americana with psychedelic overtones that extend into spacey musical territories. Initially conceived as an outlet for Mars' solo efforts the band is an ever evolving project. They are currently performing Mars de la Mancha's second album "The Seven Pillars of the Left Hand Path" due to be released this summer on Pure Weirdo records.
Bjorn and the Sun
Bjorn and the Sun is a soulful folk-blues duo consisting of David Donaldson and Amanda Björn. After meeting in Los Angeles and making music together for the last year, they embarked on a cross country adventure to Nashville to make a record. Inspired by their journey, they fused together California folk with Nashville soul. Happy to say, they finished a their first EP "Young and Restless" at the Bomb Shelter with Grammy Award-winning Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes, Hurray for the Riff Raff) along with the help from some incredibly talented Nashville players.
