Little Red Lung
In 2007, Los Angeles' Little Red Lung was seeded as a dramatic, dynamic and genre-defying musical exhibition, performing in small avant-indie venues across the city of Los Angeles, as well as assembling an extended arsenal of recorded material. In 2009, the band began a two year transplant to the foothills of East Tennessee, stirring the production pot that would eventually emerge as their debut record. After an extensive Eastern US tour in the Fall of 2010, they permanently transplanted back to their home stomping ground to form a new lineup and to nose dive into the live music scene.

Little Red Lung has recently graced the cover of Indie Music Reviewer Magazine, are featured in April's issue of Music Connection Magazine, and have been nominated for LA Artist of the Month by The Deli Magazine. They have rapidly been filling up their calendar over the past 9 months with live performances in and around the Los Angeles area and Northern California, as well as completing and releasing their debut self-titled EP - Available now though iTunes, Amazon, Bandcamp, and littleredlung.com

In 2004, Laura Baruch and Peter Kastner met, sparking a musical evolution. The combination of Laura's passion for melody and lyrics along with Peter's rhythmic and melodic genius birthed the versatile sound of Karmic. In 2008, Laura and Peter were introduced to, drummer/pianist, Steve Aho, and, guitarist, Blake Straus, who became an integral part of the band. Steve's exceptional musicality and Blake's unconventional guitar riffs transcended Karmic's sound to the next level. For the past year, the band has been working on their debut album, Karmic, which will be released in the summer of 2012.

"Bikos sounds like the most fun you can have without getting sponsored at happy hour, or without selling your soul to the synth devil. The Los Angeles art-punks new album "Make Your Sound Sound" binges on the pummeling rhythms and ecstatic licks of the B-52's, Talking Heads and other bands who made the clamorous glamorous. Whether they're shouting or singing, banging the drums or clanging the glockenspiel, the sextet of Gabriel Pearlman, Austin Wester, Jaron Halmy, Daniel Hur, Dave Jones and Michaella Burton pack their debut album with electric moments. "Make Your Sound Sound" (out this week) was made in concert with producer Dean Nelson, who's done studio work for Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks, Thurston Moore and Jamie Lidell, among others, and who took a shine to Bikos after his wife was passed the band's demos. The results: Spazzy, smart songs that'll hook you from head to toe." – Buzzbands LA
